All-metal welded container

All-metal welded Sever-type containers are widely used to house autonomous power plants, providing reliable protection for generators that many facilities depend on. Only an all-metal welded container with a reinforced frame provides the required structural rigidity and reliability.

Main design parameters and characteristics of the block container:

The block container is an all-metal structure compliant with GOST 20259 and equipped with life-support systems. It includes:

  • Frame: Load-bearing metal frame for handling and transportation.
  • Cladding: Metal wall cladding 1.2–1.5 mm thick and internal galvanized C-8 sheet 0.45 mm thick;
  • Thermal insulation: Non-combustible insulation 50–100 mm thick.
  • Roof: Gable roof made of smooth steel sheet.
  • Floor: Insulated floor made of checker plate coated with black non-combustible paint.
  • Coating: Anti-corrosion coating of metal surfaces.

Safety and environmental requirements:

The block container and its manufacturing processes comply with safety requirements under GOST 12.3.002 and GOST 12.2.003.

  • The block container withstands the following mechanical loads:
  • - Snow load of 250 kgf/m² (SNiP 2.01.07-85, zone I).
  • - Wind pressure of 75 kgf/m² (SNiP 2.01.07-85, zone V).
  • - Seismic resistance: 7 points.
  • - Fire hazard class B3 (NBP 105-2003).
  • - Fire resistance class III (SNiP 21-07-97).
  • - Outdoor air temperature range from −50°C to +50°C.

Electrical equipment and installation comply with GOST 12.2.007.0, GOST 12.1.038, GOST 12.3.032 and electrical installation rules. Noise level is reduced by 30 dB compared with the open-frame version and complies with GOST 12.1.003. Estimated service life is 10 years.

Standard block-container package:

  • • Gas exhaust system with insulated pipeline;
  • • Aluminum ventilation swing dampers with external metal louver grilles:
    • • for automation level 1, dampers are opened manually;
    • • for automation level 2, dampers are opened by an electric drive.
  • • Main 220 V and emergency 24 V lighting system; outdoor and repair lighting can be included;
  • • Fire and security alarm and fire-extinguishing system: VERS-PK unit with Buran powder extinguishing module and fire extinguisher;
  • • Auxiliary power panel and cable communications in accordance with electrical installation rules;
  • • Heating system with the required number of electric convectors with thermostats;
  • • Cable entry and exit opening;
  • • Fire-resistant insulated lockable door matching the container color.
